Our Story

From pop-ups to citywide food festivals — sharing Filipino flavor across the UAE

From major food festivals to community markets, PAMPA- continues to grow through meaningful partnerships and genuine connections with people who love discovering new flavors.

Each event has been more than just selling jars it has been about introducing a Filipino flavour experience to as many people as possible. Whether guests purchase or simply stop for a taste, the intention remains the same: to let more people experience the bold, garlic-forward flavour that PAMPA- proudly carries.

I’ve always loved spicy food. Whenever I eat out, I’m the one asking for fresh chopped chili because most hot sauces either overpower the dish or simply aren’t spicy enough.

I tried countless chili oils and condiments, but nothing truly satisfied me. They were either bland, too mild, or missing real depth of flavor. I wanted something that was both spicy and genuinely delicious.

JayR, on the other hand, isn’t into spicy food at all.

But one night, he made a simple chili garlic to go with our homemade siomai. The moment we both tried it, we knew something was different. It's spicy, savory, and rich with a distinct Filipino flavor. That simple meal suddenly became something special.

After that, we started adding it to almost everything.

When our friends tried it, they all said the same thing:
“This makes everything better.”

That’s when it clicked, this shouldn’t be something only we get to enjoy. It’s something meant to be shared.

We’ve always believed that food has the power to change your mood. A great meal can turn a bad day around. And Filipino flavors have a way of bringing comfort, joy, and excitement to every bite.

That’s how PAMPA- was born, from a simple dinner, a surprising discovery, and a flavor we knew the world needed to taste.

In Filipino culture, PAMPA- is a prefix used to elevate something. Pampa-sarap. Pampa-busog. Pampa-good vibes. It turns a simple word into a full experience. That’s exactly what we wanted our food to do.

Today, PAMPA- exists to make people look forward to eating. To bring joy, excitement, and Filipino flavour to every bite whether it’s poured over rice, spooned onto dumplings, or added to a meal halfway around the world.

This started with one homemade dish.

Now, it’s a flavour we’re proud to share.
